Milford GI Associates Telephone and Electronic Portal Communication Policy

Our Physicians and Advanced Providers welcome telephone and electronic portal communication to address your health care concerns that might occur when an office visit is not possible, including After Hours care. Our team makes every effort to respond to your communications as quickly as possible while simultaneously respecting the needs of patients who are in our office or at the hospital awaiting their scheduled visits.

Please be aware that depending on the complexity of your issue and the associated time required to review your chart, look up recent laboratory or imaging data including endoscopy reports and then implementing the necessary management as well as documenting this communication, your provider may determine that this represents a Telehealth or Virtual visit which is a billable encounter. These Telehealth visits are billed to your insurance and are usually, but not always, covered by your private medical insurance and by Medicare. Please note they may require a co-pay or be applied to your deductible expense.
